Today was a beautiful day for the picnic! This is one of the paintings I sold today. A familiar scene in my area. I'm very excited to start the commissioned piece I was asked to do today as well. Thanks to those who came out in support!

Busy Busy!
This week has been very busy! I spent the week participating in the PAA Artists' Residency. This painting was painted plein air at a private beach on Calumet Island. The scenery was stunning! Tomorrow I will be showing at the Picnic in the Park in Quyon, Quebec.

The Sun Seekers
Today is hot. Really hot. It's a good day to finish up paintings that have been sitting, almost complete. Sunflowers bring a smile to my face. :)

Calm on the Ottawa
During a day on the water last week, I took several pictures of nature on the Ottawa River. I took an idea from them and came up with this painting. There are several beautiful places along the Ottawa River... and I hope to paint another one soon.

Seasons End
Finally finished the touch ups on this painting. I had taken a picture of this last fall while on a drive. It's done in acrylic on a 16x20 gallery canvas. Corn season was over but it made for a great picture.
